Alux light bands are larger skylights that easily provide intense natural lighting in buildings with large open rooms. The skylight bands are linear skylight elements, constructed in optional lengths. They can be installed on any roof structure. They provide particularly intense lighting in galleries, studios, workshops, warehouses and in industrial, public and commercial buildings.


Composition of Elements

Skylight bands are designed modularly, so that their execution can be optimally adapted to one's needs.
The skins of Alux skylight bands have light, mechanical, thermal and airborne sound insulation properties. The number of skin layers and the choice of material for individual layers can be adapted.

The daylight supplied to the room with a skylight can be adapted with the type of material used for the skylight band.

Kerbs

Kerbs are the bases of skylight bands that prevent water from penetrating into buildings due to precipitation and a snow cover. 

Dimensions

  • the standard sizes of apertures are adapted to the dimensions of standard skylight bands
  • the height of standard kerbs is 15, 30 or 50cm
  • it is possible to make kerbs in non-standard heights and dimensions upon order
