Characteristics

    • light-weight material

Are lighter than glass and substantially reduce the weight of the structures. A polycarbonate sheet weighs 50% less than a glass sheet of the same thickness.

    • luminous transmittance

The sheets transmit light well and are also available in opal.

    • energy savings

Polycarbonate sheets provide thermal insulation, which contributes significantly to smaller energy consumption for heating buildings.

    • permanent quality

They preserve their hardness, colour and transparency, even after being exposed to unfavourable weather conditions for several years. This is confirmed by certificates, tests and warranties, and our many years of experience.

    • two-sided UV protection

Both sides of the sheets have a coextruded layer of a high-quality UV absorber. The latter filters light, protects the polymer against ageing and provides exceptional impact resistance even after long-term exposure to sunlight.

    • fire resistance

The single-wall polycarbonate sheets have a class 1-type permit for thickness from 8 to 12mm and comply with the EuroClass B-s2,d0 fire resistance level, in accordance with European legislation for thickness from 2 to 6mm.
